Hello!
My name is Katie. I'm a photographer + designer who loves to call Cambridge, New Zealand home.
​
My Mum tells me I've been a story-teller since I could speak. The boxed volumes of my childhood bound writings tell the tales of my overactive imagination and aspirations to be Roald Dahl. And today, after leaving my design 9-5 behind, (where incidentally - I was given a camera and asked to photograph kids clothing lines for magazines) I'm back doing what I love. Telling stories; documenting love and relationships; and binding up memories to be re-lived over and over for years to come.

I grew up on a High Country Station in New Zealand, have lived in four countries, I've accidentally adopted a stray pup from the streets of Africa and brought him home, completed a Commerce and Arts degree, created three fabulous, loud and always messy children with my wonderful husband...and love to find peace and quiet in the mountains...(hard when you've got three loud children.)

I'll laugh too loud at your session, tell you it's "the last shot" 10x over, and hunt for golden light like it's oxygen. But it will be worth it, I promise.
